healthy office plants

Plants in the home and the office more than just pretty. They help clean the air we breathe, and make us feel less in artificial environments that are for offices now estranged. Modern office buildings, spewing hundreds of chemicals from new carpet, paint, upholstery, computers and plastics industries. A study of Chichester College, confirmed the benefits of a house around plants because they make our environment a healthier place to live and work. The researchers found that can help one potted plant per 100 square meters of living space clean the air.

The students rated the most efficient plants and the ubiquitous Areca Palm first came to remove ammonia and formaldehyde (found in many cleaning products) from the air and moisture in the air release. Further, the Peace Lily is removed, the acetone, then the rubber tree, Ficus and Benjamina (crying face), then the Dracena. Number 6 is English ivy, which absorb moisture causing asthma, Boston ferns are evaluated to improve air quality, then the spider plant (it is an office that is not at least one of these) and finally the butterfly orchid (Phalaenopsis). Is it possible that the reason that these plants are in all offices, equipment suppliers because they are healthy, know, or is it just because they are robust? The problem is that these plants are boring research - the students can find something more interesting to look for us in order for eight hours a day? :: Chichester College Via: Chelsea Flower Show
