Organization and use of  this guide
The 300 plant species in  this guide are divided into groups. Within each group they  are arranged alphabetically by genre, then alphabetically by species  within each genus. The top of each page  provides the scientific and common names of plants, following the  national list of plant species that occur in wetlands: Areas 4, 5, 7, 8,  9, 0 and A set up by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 1988. The scientific name is  composed of two Latin names. The first is called the  genus name, the second is the case. After two Latin names are  one or more abbreviation (s), which gave the name (or names) of a  botanist (s), the first to plant their right name. These abbreviated names  are indicated on the Authority.
Also to be found on  every page, one or more color photo (s) of species and a map of the  distribution of species in the United States. The distribution of the  map was drawn in consultation with all existing flora of the United  States. The card is only a  general range of species. A state that is covered  by the model does not necessarily mean that the plant is located in each  district, but can put in each county are available.
The next section of each  page to a description of the plant, including the month of the year that  is dedicated to the flower in full bloom, the strain characteristics of  the habitat in which it is located, in the form of growth. Leaves, flower (sepals,  petals, stamens, pistil), fruits and seeds. Useful or other  characteristics of the plant included in the notes. In the category titled  Field marks the combination of signs is this case differs from all  others. The rest of each page is  an illustration in black and white in the whole plant and, if necessary,  a representation of a close-up of parts of the plant.
To use the guide, it  identifies the plant group. a reference to the key or  the experience and knowledge, then the description of the plants. If the plant does not  occur in the descriptions, it is not obvious from this manual, the  researchers need to consult other references.
