MESSAGE from the Director

Department is Armstrong Atlantic State University plant operations and private partners, very proud of their role as guardians of a rapid growth of the University of Savannah. With a full-time staff of 25 part-time staff and four students and a private contract staff of 30 +, AASU Department of Plant Operations maintains approximately 700,000 square meters of facilities. Our goal is to secure, clean and well maintained facilities, the framework for education and educational mission of AASU's are.

We wear many hats, as we pursue this goal. Responsibilities include operation of the plant life on the campus inventory of hazardous substances and waste disposal, construction management, energy management, waste management, mechanical systems operation and maintenance of electrical Operating and maintenance, sanitary engineering systems operation and maintenance, transportation equipment, landscaping and maintenance, custodial, construction and operating shuttle.
