The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001 certification in the last year for the best environmental management practices. Visitors to Carlsbad, NM have been invited to visit the exhibition WIPP experience. Although WIPP tours are not available, exposure during our office building in the city has a short documentary about the project and many screens. The friendly staff is to questions about this unique facility to answer.
Free to 250 million years of rock salt samples are available for all visitors! Groups larger than four people are asked to telephone in advance for special meetings in the auditorium.
